Many law enforcement bodies know Kiwa as the institute that carries out numerous statutory inspections and tests in several fields and various organisations in the building and environmental sectors. In addition to these services, government bodies increasingly have dealings with Kiwa because of certification of their organisations.

A logical development, since government bodies are increasingly required to adopt a customer-oriented approach, in a society in which the citizen stand up for their rights. Government bodies are also expected to conduct their activities effectively and efficiently. This means that they are increasingly expected to work decisively and on a market-oriented basis.

Kiwa supports governments by offering certification products, which allow them to show the public that they work in a safe, customer-oriented and employee and environment friendly manner.
